I was just reading through the board for the first time in a few days and see some of you voicing concerns over the future of the band, this is just what I think.

I think we all agree that these 4 people, we know them as 'The Corrs' have had the most incredible 10 years, for those of us who are lucky enough to have been there with them from the very start it's certainly been an astonishing and somewhat unbelieveable trip. For the newer fans, well they have so much left to discover and enjoy about this awesome band.

For 10 years these people have given us, the fans, their lives, they have worked incredibly hard and undertaken the most daunting schedules imaginable and excelled in everything they've done achieving I think more than they ever hoped for and certainly going far and above what most of us would consider humanly possible!

We have been given a gift from these people, a wonderful gift which cost us nothing and them everything, they owed us nothing yet we recieved so much from them.

So, is it all over? not at all! The Corr family are doing something they more than deserve, it's time to live their lives, their real lives, have their families and watch their children grow, right now this is THE most important time in their lives, they can sit back and enjoy their new families safe in the knowledge that they achived more than they set out to achieve, they can look back with no regrets, family is the single most important thing and now is their time.

It's not over, we have the music, the DVDs, the memories, who's to say there won't be more music in the future, nothing's ever for certain, along their whole career, nothing was ever set in stone, they had a 10 year plan and boy did they succeed!
Maybe in a few years when their families have grown, when Andrea has achieved her acting goals, when it's time again, there will be more from The Corrs, perhaps a different sound, who knows!
It's only over if that's how we want it to be, if we close down our websites, our messageboards, stop looking at the pictures, reading the news, listening to the music!

I think all thats needed here is an understanding that these people deserve to live their own lives, to do what makes them happy and that we as fans don't just give up because they are doing so, I'm pretty certain that there will be more music in the future, music is in their blood, it doesn't just stop, when what needs to be done is done I'm sure we will hear new material but if we don't then I think we have a wonderful collection in all that they have given us so far. in the mean time we get to watch Andrea develop her acting career, I think we are more than privelaged to know what we know about Caroline & Sharon's children, it's a very private part of their lives yet they have let us in and given us news about them along the way.

So why don't we as fans take a note from their book, sit back, relax, enjoy the music, who knows what the future holds, we have a fabulous community here so lets hold onto it, as Andrea once said, 'when you have the music you have friends for life'

what other community has had the opportunity to build friendships such as we have, what other community has had the honour of the band members actually visiting, reading what we have to say, listening and taking note of what we say and even posting themselfs!
we should be honoured and privelaged to be part of this wonderful community and to know this fantastic band and to know that they care about us as fans.

In closing I'd like to say thankyou to The Corrs, you are truly amazing people, for the music and everything I've drawn from it during my life, for giving their time to us and I'd like to wish all of them happy and healthy futures with their new families & I look forward to hearing from them in the coming years no matter how near or far away that may be!
I'd also like to congratulate them on behalf of all the fans at this board on all their achievements so far in their lives and I'm sure they will achieve much more as time goes on in every aspect of their lives.

What they have given us is something very special, lets never forget that!
