A note about how it's all organized... :-) 23-Jun-2008 21:54:27

Now that we've got the link up... I thought I'd make a little note about how it's 'organized'. Not that it's complicated or anything but just to make it easier for everyone to find what they are looking for.
I approached it a bit differently than I remember DFC having stuff set up. [Absolutely no offense to those who worked hard on their parts!! My brain just works a little bit differently!
]
The violin and tin whistle links will take you to music for the violin part or whistle part as the Corrs normally play them onstage. i.e. You will not find whistle music that has the melody line under the whistle link.
However, each tin whistle link should take you to music that you can pick up a whistle and play - without having to alter any notes. [Assuming you have the correctly keyed whistle that is.
] This means that oftentimes the violin part and whistle part have slight differences. And the whistle part might sound slightly odd - the most noticeable of this being "Erin Shore" since to play it all as the melody you either need a low-D whistle or must play very high notes for lots of the song [and most of us beginners who are just out for fun don't have or can't handle either!!
]. Basically, they're written as you'd play them if you were playing along with our band, or any other at a session or something like that.
If you're looking at a whistle part and would prefer the "as written" music - if you look at the violin music you'll likely find what you're looking for.
Getting the guitar parts done is going the most slowly for me but they'll all be up eventually. If you're looking for the melody line as Andrea sings or something like that, you should be able to find whatever you desire on the guitar music when I (or some nice volunteer) gets it done.
If you have any questions - please let me know!
And for the moment... "N/A" means I haven't gotten to it yet!
If you notice any mistakes... Please let me know so I can get them fixed!
