I wonder what direction they are going for with Album No. 7...

If they are indeed working with T Bone to produce the said album, it is curious that they choose to work with someone whose experiences mainly involve working with 'old time' (for lack of better word...) musicians, as opposed to younger artists who are more in touch with the climate of the music industry today (John Shanks and Chris Young, for example, are known for their works with a lot of newer artists and have sufficient knowledge about what the industry demands and all the latest trends today).

How will they manage to come up with a strategy to embrace the newer generation and make sure their songs are appealing enough to get played on radio stations and the likes while presenting themselves as 'fresh' instead of a nostalgia act looking to relive memories of their past glory if they indeed choose to work with someone known for his involvement with 'nostalgic' acts?

(because yes, they do care about album sales no matter how unrealistically idealistic some of us often make them out to be and we should remember when there's a major label backing and all numbers and figures do matter.)
