Seems pretty common nowadays for new songs by big acts to be released on youtube concurrently with streaming services, ahead of the official music video. The lyric videos are just a cheap solution for the need to have a professional-looking video on the artist's youtube page.

I hate lyric videos though, so this alternative is much appreciated. Much more personal.
