Although I understand the mad hard-corr fans reaction. Casual fans definitely do not care for any of those details. I'll take my brother as a reference again. If I didn't send him information about new album/single etc, he wouldn't have been aware. He knows an album is coming up and is just happy and looking forward for a (hopefully) upcoming tour in (hopefully) France and for the album itself. From his point of view, promo/video release don't matter at all, as long as an album is out and a tour is up - and same for most of my colleagues who just follow the band from afar.
