If you listen to any politically driven song lyrics, they are never going to be that deep. The writer is simply pointing out a reality, a fact, some people do point the fingers at immigrants this way. But because of the format - a pop song - it's not going to be more detailed or more subtle - put yourself in this situation and try to write diffrent lyrics - it's pretty hard to come up with something that will fit the tempo and yet still allows you to describe the injustice you think you witness while writing just short sentences if that makes sense.
