as I need to share values with an artist to really enjoy their art.
I didn't want to engage in an openly political conversation, so I tried to keep my views on the matter to myself haha
As you say, it would be weird to say the least to hear them tackle the same ol' "I love him he loves me not". No matter how good their writing skills are, it would still be trite and somewhat pathetic. That's why Strange Romance is among my very favorite songs from WL.Still about love, but a more mature perspective. Something one can relate to when in a long term relationship, for example.
