The problem with ID checking-which makes it difficult to buy tickets as a gift-is determining what is acceptable.I , for instance, do not have a driving license or a passport.Would they accept my soon to be issued bus pass I wonder?Then there's the problem of slowing down admission to the venue.Security is sadly essential these days but as I turn up with no bags I usually just walk in without problem.I don't want to be spending ages in a queue because everyone is having to show ID.Please don't make admission to gigs long and complicated.I will stop going.
