The Corrs were not big in the UK before the original RAH gig, right?|
I'm amazed that John Hughes (or John Giddings, or whoever was responsible) was able to get a moderately popular band booked at the RAH on St. Patrick's Day, and get the gig broadcast live on the BBC, leading to their big break (at least in the UK). Shows the value of taking risks and thinking big.
