Also, I have no intention to attack anyone here over a disagreement—and I believe neither does Mathias. People offer different opinions all the time in a civilised manner here, and how is that considered an attack?
I have said this many times, and let me say it again: most of us here do not demand 24/7 coverage from the band. I know I come from a different generation (and I guess it’s safe to say I don’t know the band nearly as well as most of you here do), but I am pretty realistic—I have said that large scale promo efforts might be a stretch. All we are wondering here is why they have gone silent out of the blue after a fairly active period, even to the point of keeping us in the dark during a fairly busy week in their schedule.
And believe me when I say many in the fanbase, including those who aren’t on CC, share similar concerns. As a comparison, Sharon did not come online 24/7–to use the term you used—in her solo career but she did keep everyone updated when important things were being done so that we were aware that there was something and could build up the hype and excitement. Now does appreciating that count as being obsessed?
