Well, it's a bit off topic, but my favourite cake is my mum's apple and cinnamon cake. It's a lovely moist cake, which doesn't keep very well, mainly because we eat it too quickly.
It's a bit of a blend of German apple cake, (she's from Berlin), and a sort of spicy British fruit cake, but not the heavy Christmas fruit cake.

A close second is the Christmas type fruit cake, made with added tropical fruit, soaked in port. It's my effort at a signature cake.

Corrs cake Club anybody?

There are thousands of websites and youtube videos on mixing etc, (music now, not cakes). I have browsed proaudiofiles.com for various tips, but a lot of it goes over my head. I also visit a Korg forum sometimes, as I use some old Korg digital multitrackers. I did evening classes in recording technology at a local college which really helped me get into all this.

I'm looking forward to hearing all the voices mentioned on the finished song.
