Interesting to hear last night that Strictly's Faye Tozer is 43. So Steps were younger than The Corrs 15-Dec-2018 10:16:02

at the time when both groups 'hit the big time'. We tend to think of the Corr sisters as being quite young when they came to the public attention in UK at their RAH gig in March 98, but Steps had already made it a couple of years earlier. Direct comparisons though are not easy because The Corrs had been writing and performing since the mid 90s whereas Steps were a 'manufactured' group that rose to prominence overnight.
It was however interesting to hear Faye herself saying last night that 'as a 43 year old working mum' she was delighted and amazed to have reached the Strictly final which is shown tonight on BBC1. Stacey Dooley is 31 and I'm still routing for her and Kevin to win, though I have to admit that Faye is the better dancer of the two.
