in their own style, or maybe to cover musicians that are not longer available to play for themselves.
My biggest gripe is that some charge as much for their tickets as the actual artist would - I'd rather put my money towards and up and coming artist than pay someone to perform someone else's songs - with that said, I saw a Peter Gabriel era Genesis cover band in a pub once, and loved every minute of it..
