in various countries. Like many UK and Irish families that can afford it, they would have a 'summer home' (like Caroline's Mallorca property) and a 'ski resort' apartment or similar. Its certainly not unusual to have 2 or 3 homes and to move between them at different times of the year and for holidays. Children's education is also a factor, Sharon recently said that she moved to Madrid to avail of better schooling and Caroline's choice to live in Somerset could be for similar reasons. Secondary (or High School) education from age 11 thru 18, with the possibility of gaining a uni place later is a high priority for most parents.
