I know I took a super long time to get done what I needed to do because I was using a public studio/software, in between several other recording projects. Also, my voice didn't always work the way I wanted it to! Plus: perfectionism.
But others may be able to do it faster. Also, we have the blueprint worked out, and know that the process works, and that it can sound 'together' by recording while listening to the original song.
