I solved the problem that I mentioned in my previous post. To recap, the album version of Long Night seems to be somewhere between 74 and 75 beats per minute (bpm). I'm using GarageBand, which cannot (as far as I can tell) handle fractional bpm, which means that I would not able to sync my keyboard parts with the album track. As it turns out, it seems that Long Night is 74.5 bpm in a 4/4 time signature. I can't set GarageBand to 74.5 bpm, but I was able to set it to 149 bpm in 2/2, which is equivalent. So that problem is solved.
