now on Facebook Messenger, which I often do... or even call them by Messenger phone app. Long gone are the days where we were kept in the dark with no idea what was going on, or even where the next gig was scheduled. Any fears that a band or its management are going to be constantly pestered by messages or calls just doesn't happen. This is because the fact that you know you can make contact easily and get an answer actually creates a far more laid back and relaxed atmosphere all round.
Also the common use now of sites like Bandsintown to readily access and buy tickets, find the venue on the linked map and even choose from a selection of hotels that are flagged up.
Btw, Laura Cox Band are doing another UK mini-tour this coming December - London and Leeds dates & tickets already on sale through www.ents24.com
I'm actually away this weekend over to France for 2 of their gigs, a festival which they are headlining near St Nazaire (free entry) and a guest list invite for one in the Dordogne area.
