that came up a few times as we were never that sure that there was money being made at all.

We saw Sharon play the Iron Works in Inverness, in front of about 45 people in total. The venue was layed out with tables and chairs, like a bar. Tickets were <£20 each...

The White Light tour in the UK was another story, with tickets costing £100+
Most venues were close enough to capacity too, and those were the usual larger scale UK arenas, incluidng a night at the o2 which looked pretty full from where we were sat down the front.

The European White Light tour (which I missed) consisted of a small German tour (5-6 gigs?), and I think less than half a dozen other gigs, but nothing more, then as you say, the RAH show.

From a money perspective, I see no financial reason for a Europe-based band to fly around the world when there are plenty of venues around here, where they have had previous success.
I suspect they could do another UK large venue tour, and that it would sell well enough to be worth it.
I think as they spread into Europe smaller venues would be required.
I'd imagine (knowing nothing about the UK music scene) it'd also be small venues, plus the cost of flying everyone, and presumably some gear, out there.

I don't see Sharon wanting to do 2 sets in 1 night...
