Here's a thought I had upon recently listening to JC:

There are many pop/rock songs with drum beats that are distinctive enough to recognize on their own -- e.g., U2's Sunday Bloody Sunday. But before JC, how many Corrs songs could you recognize from their drumming alone? On JC, however, and to a lesser extent WL, it seems to me that Caroline's drumming has gotten more distinctive. JC has at least two songs that I think one could recognize from the drum beats (Butter Flutter and Season of Our Love), and several other songs with drumming notable in various ways (e.g., SOS uses mostly toms instead of hi-hat and snare).

So it seems that Caroline must have been practicing during the long hiatus, and growing as a musician. (Also note that when the band was playing WL gigs, Caroline was playing drum fills in Dreams differently from how she used to play them.) I wish someone would ask Caroline about this in interviews rather than the usual questions about being in a band with siblings, etc.

Are there other Corrs songs that you could recognize from their drumming alone?
