It says that in a Facebook posting Jim claimed authorship of the lyrics.
The reference page refers in part to Thomas Aquinas. Separately from that Corrs Club reference page, Wikipedia says that beyond being a renowned scholar, Aquinas had a vision of the Blessed Virgin, and was reported to have sometimes levitated during intense prayer. Not that there is the slightest evidence that the Corrs gravitated towards such stories. But more simply, the title "Secret Life" does strongly suggest the quiet pursuit of a spiritual journey.
