Today I was reading a new article on RTE about the Danish musician Myrkur and was thrilled to discover she's a Corrs fan:
"I absolutely loved The Corrs as a very young child! I knew all the violin parts of their debut record. They did introduce me to some of the classical Irish songs that I'd never been introduced to before because they had songs like that on their record."
For those who don't know her, a few months ago she put out an album called 'Folkesange' exploring of Celtic and Scandinavian folk songs, featuring both covers and her own songs inspired by those styles.
It's a gorgeous album - I've been listening to it lots!

This song she wrote is so pretty too. The whole album is gorgeous - but then, I like Scandinavian music!
