...because the things he would tweet would just make me feel angry.
Twitter doesn't necessarily have to be a bad place - it depends on who you follow. Thought it's certainly become more heated and stressful in recent years.
I'm genuinely curious about what The Corrs' music might sound like without Jim! Eg if it was just the three sisters playing together - or with a different guitarist.
