Andrea sounds great. The production on this EP sounds both classic and fresh. Her voice sounds rich and intimate.
Sometimes producers don't capture all the beauty of her voice, or don't team it with the right instruments. For example, I felt her voice got a bit lost on the Ten Feet High album, and it didn't seem to sit right with the instruments used. And on the Jupiter Calling album, her voice sounded a bit thin, to my ears.
But it sounds warm and rounded on this Christmas EP. I don't know what's different - it could be the microphone, or the mixing or mastering. (I don't know enough about music production to say for sure!).
Does that make sense?
