After hearing the excerpt the other day, I thought the song may have been about her marriage breakup.
Then I thought, "Surely she wouldn't be so public about it!" - keeping in mind that once music goes online, it stays there forever - and her kids would hear it.
So then I wondered if it was about a broader topic in the news, like the Me Too movement.
But now that I've heard "the Queen's twisted sister" in the lyrics, I can't imagine what else she'd be singing about. Pretty sure she's not singing about the late Princess Margaret of England!
I like that she had the moxie to go there...but also, it must make family life a bit awkward!
