I know very little about the production side of making music, so it was interesting to learn about Ryan Freeland's experiences.
I don't think I quite understand what tasks a producer does, vs a sound engineer, or a mixing engineer, or other people involved. A lot of the things Ryan talked about were tasks that I thought a producer would do, but apparently not.
It was especially interesting to hear about Jim's role in the production, as I have never been clear on exactly what roles he plays in the band.
Looking forward to hearing more episodes!
