I stumbled across the Folkesange album not too long ago, which I bought. It has some of the same feeling I get from the music of Loreena McKennitt. I have read that this album represents somewhat of a departure from her earlier albums in the so-called "Black Metal" genre. Before your post, I was completely unaware of any connection with the Corrs and how the Corrs played a part in the musical development of lead singer Amalie Bruun. Very interesting!
Thanks for the striking videos that you shared as well.
I recall watching this video of her talking about her LP purchases at Amoeba Music. Talk about an eclectic shopping bag!
