JohnLnyc mentioned that he found Jason's and Caroline's drumming to sound quite different, even if they are playing the same parts. Yes, I agree. I don't know enough about drumming to say what the difference is, but I can hear a difference as well. To me this is most noticeable on So Young and What Can I Do on the Live in Geneva DVD. Jason's snare sound seems higher-pitched to my ears, almost like a high tom. I don't know how to put it into words, but I think it you played a song with Jason drumming and the same song with Caroline drumming, it wouldn't be too hard to tell which is which. If any drummers are still on the board (Niraj? Michael?), I'd love to learn more about their differences.
