DrFunkenstein, I know the scene you are thinking of, where Sharon says something like, "You better boost the backing vocals". That actually wasn't the one I was thinking of, though. I vaguely remember seeing a promo appearance of some sort -- maybe not a gig, as I wrote originally -- where Sharon was not there. It might have been an appearance on some chat show, or a Top of the Pops-type show, or something like that. I think I came across it on youtube many years ago, and I don't think I have any hope of locating it now. Or maybe it was a gig; I really don't remember.
I had thought it was the gig at the Millenium Dome in 1999, but I just watched that on youtube, and Sharon was there. In that gig Caroline was missing, and I've never seen the drummer before (it's not Jason Duffy). This is before Caroline was pregnant, so I'm not sure why she wasn't there.
Anyone have any ideas?
