I'm not judging anyone...

.. since I don't know the life situation of the kind and generous people who put in great effort to re-create the old Corr Board, then sustain the web-hosting and maintenance this place. I remember those sad days when the Corr Board had gone away, and then the devotion of these wonderful people made it possible for this forum to be revived (with great pains) in its original format and continue its life as a gathering place for worldwide fans of the band.

However, there is no getting around the reality that this forum does have the appearance of having been abandoned. I really don't know what happened, and because of that, I have no wish to be critical of anyone. Yet, there it is: we've had the same 'Picture of the Week' for years now (though I'm sure no one resents having "Drummer Girl" Caroline stick around for a while). At the OT Board our "Artist of the Moment" (Delta Goodrem) has been there for the better part of the past decade.

We all know that people move on to new phases in their lives and that times change. Undoubtedly, this has happened with our past forum members. The Corrs themselves, after putting in all that hard work, perhaps missing other life experiences to become so successful as musical artists, stepped away to move on with their lives and raise their children, as well they should.

Some 20 years ago, it was invigorating when the members of the band would occasionally post at the Corr Board. In all these years, they never saw fit to do it again. I always thought that this would have helped fire up this forum. It wasn't a priority of theirs to do this, and it is entirely within their rights to have their own priorities.

I've learned so much and derived so much joy from other fans of the Corrs, and, because of that, this place is also close to my heart. I believe there still is great value to this place, though it is too quiet as the forum for a band on the cusp of new live gigs.

I don't know whether I have solutions, but I want all to know that I appreciate this place and the dear people who have made it what it has been.
