[copied from email as Yrisea can't recall their password, and I can't fix that yet - part of the problem etc!]
About the debate on whether or not to keep up the board...I'd selfishly hope it would stay up, it is literally the last one standing (site + forum) about the corrs (a band that used to have literally thousands of sites about them!).
I do know the cost in both time and money associated with running such a place though, so I hope that if you decide you can't continue for whatever reason, you let us know so we can archive the place - there are so many important information you can't find anywhere but on this site now! It's time-consuming and I think a lot of fans are on the older side now with kids and all that so it makes it even harder for them to have time for any of it which I totally understand.
Other than that, you are right in saying it is hard to keep up an old-school board when many have moved on to facebook and instagram. Personally, I love the Corrboard (and the last french forum standing, thecorrs.superforum but we have the same problem as you, nobody is coming anymore and it's pretty much dead sadly) and I prefer to have a dedicated place to discuss rather than fleeting posts on a confusing timeline riddled with ads in between lol.
I think what might help with board activity is having an easier login / sign up process but I know it's hard because of the peculiar code of the site - which personally I love the 90s/early 2000 feel of it.
Anyway, all that to say, I'd totally understand if anyone wanted to pull the plug on it because the board has been pretty much dead. The news of The Corrs apparently releasing an album might change that a bit but if you still cannot get new members signed up, it's going to be hard to have more activities, apart from the od long-standing diehard fan lol.
Have a great day !
