This board has been the one constant thing in the fanbase throughout all these years, even when the band were on hiatus, and now that the band are doing new stuff I think it's more important than ever that this board remains open.

As much as I don't mind other means of communication like social media and group chats (Discord servers, for example) there are still certain elements unique to an old-fashioned online forum that you simply can't find anywhere else, and I still prefer spaces such as this board for in-depth discussions and even essays, like Steve said.

I know I haven't been able to contribute as much as I used to, but this space always has a very special place in my heart - I first joined here as a teenager, and now that I'm in my late 20s I guess you can say that I grew up with this board
