Welp, I agree with a lot of what Andrea said.
I'm part of the generation that has pushed the use of streaming. While I found that cool a few years ago when Spotify really blew up, I have since completely changed my mind and got rid of Spotify altogether. Renting music for over a 100 eur/year does not make sense in the end. I've never used Spotify to discover anything new - it consistently failed at pushing anything relevant to me - youtube algorithm seems to do a far better job at that.. It's almost like the game is rigged on Spoti and artists pay to be pushed upfront, no matter how irrelevant their music is, huh. Plus weird thing, I've always discovered new music by walking into shops lol. Like shopping around and hearing something I like over speakers, shazam it and voilĂ .
I've started to buy about 2/3 CDs / month, CDs have never been cheaper. The whole CD thing is such a unique experience. I'm not coming back to Spotify. They are horrendous to artists.
