Thank you for the insights Chris that is super helpful. I also hate ticket buying and don't like the system ticketmaster used.
I was able to access the presale for Glasgow (OVO customer) to trial out. After a few hours it now shows the map of seats rather than finding the best available which is preferable but obviously much is already taken. There are relatively very good seats in mid third / forth rows which I would be pleased with but I can't access the presales for the Ireland dates.
Hopefully tomorrow we will be able to access the seat map and select what we want, again I can only see the OVO Glasgow gig pre-sale.
