outlets are far more honest in their dealings. UK venues have now become 'money generating' sources for the big media corps that own them. There is a lot of corruption too in their tie-in with certain major ticket suppliers, insider dealing and supply to touts who then sell on premium tickets at huge profits. It seems that the artists, bands and musicians are used just as 'front' to sell seats - that's all that matters. As I live on a small island between the UK and Europe, it doesn't matter if I travel north or south for a gig, travel expenses and hotel costs are the same.
