It simply isn't very good in terms of financial ROI releasing an album for a band nowadays, even a band like The Corrs. I have no doubt that should inspiration strike, they won't hesitate and do it anyway - they are a proper legacy band now and their brand holds cachet. Any record company would be happy releasing something from them.
However, albums are mostly no longer the lucrative business they once were. Even touring isn't that great of a deal. With inflation, oil prices going up in the past few years, transport being more expensive than ever, hotel rates too....whatever benefits you make on a tour will be eaten up by expenses before you know it. Gone are the days of record companies fronting the bill for a tour too.
Whatever tour The Corrs pull off nowadays are already more than I'd expect in the current climate. Maybe they'll do more in the future, who knows?
On the note of current music industry landscape, i often wonder if the corrs could have had their level of success in the 21st century - like circa 2010/2020 if they started then. I truly doubt it. Bands are mostly a thing of the past, they could never have garnered the attention of short-attention spanned gen Z (or even younger millenials), they would never have sold albums by the truck load, magazines mostly no longer exist and TV is mostly dead - two media on which they featured heavily in their heydays. Maybe they'd have some sort of different success...
