It sounds like such a joy to you, Simon, Francisco, Wendy, Rachel, Darren, Ivo, Rosa, Kristine and Taliya to have the ability and wherewithal to get to attend all those concerts with such great seats. I salute all of you for your dedication and understand, from hearing your guests, how much it means to all of you. I look forward to hearing the rest of the interview.
To be perfectly frank, I can't help but have somewhat mixed feelings, though, because I came out of that hour or so with a feeling that, however unlikely it would be that the Corrs did a concert anywhere close to me (and I'd be content just to see them once), there is a strong possibility that I would miss out, since tickets would all go to more inventive, better organized and "hungrier" fans who can have an array of computers and ticket-buying accounts set up to go into action as soon as the tickets go up for sale. I imagine that it costs a considerable amount of money to travel and attend that many concerts. I'm just not there: I don't love the Corrs enough to justify such an expense and the financial hole that it would put me in. I enjoy the Corrs and their music very much but cannot match that kind of unbridled enthusiasm. I fall short.
More power to you and your guests, though! I was raised with the principle that it's wrong to envy or covet the good fortune of others. Your interview is kind of making that a challenge!
