Thank you so much, Simon and hats off to your wonderful guests, Siedah and Glenn!

This episode was packed with gems, like the Quincy Jones connection and the brilliant thematic link between What I Know and Queen of Hollywood. How did I never catch that before?

Siedah and Glenn’s friendship was so moving to hear. Their mutual respect and admiration really shine through. And wow, Siedah's demo vocals are beautiful. Her story about writing Man in the Mirror gave me chills. That's the kind of raw, real talent AI could never fake. Just two people, real instruments, real lyrics, and suddenly, a hit. No prefab loops or 2010s Apple Acid pop shortcuts in sight!

This episode made me appreciate TOC on a whole new level. In fact, some of the unreleased tracks are even more compelling than the album cuts. It’s wild to think a music exec nearly passed on this. The Corrs didn’t get lucky. They fought for their breakthrough, and it shows.

I was just telling my brother about your podcast. You've got a new fan! He loved the demo from a previous episode and said, “That’s pure talent. A band that can just whip that up from voice and guitar.”

Re-listening to past episodes, I keep finding new treasures. The most touching part? You’re giving a voice to the unsung heroes behind the scenes, the ones who thought no one cared. We do care. And you're making that visible, Simon. Thank you for that. ❤️

So happy you’ve set up a Patreon. I’ll be contributing for sure!

Big thanks again to Siedah and Glenn, such warm, talented, and fascinating guests. And who knows, maybe that new song will happen after all! 😊
