Someone (sorry I forgot who) posted the song "Dynasty" by Rina Sawayama here several years ago. I really liked the song and still listen to it from time to time.
I came across an article in the New York Times from a few years ago about Sawayama's then-upcoming album, Hold the Girl:

I don't think it would have occurred to me that this was inspired by the Corrs, but I do like the song. The eighth-note rhythm guitar beat does remind me a little bit of Breathless, although it actually reminds me more of Since U Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson.
Anyway, I thought that was an interesting connection.
