Priscilla Ahn just did some dates in Japan, Korea and Singapore. Charlie Wadhams who was part of her band for the tour posted some video. The interesting part is the soundtrack is Priscilla singing in Japanese. I know she did record some songs in Japanese for an EP that was never released. I'm assuming this is one of those tracks or it could be a live recording. Most people I know who have seen her live think she sounds better live than recorded. Although the song title is "Sukiyaki" I know it's actually a Japanese song "standard" (with a really japanese title) that was a hit many years ago in the U.S. by an actor/comedian named Kyu Sakamoto. When the song got surprise airplay in the states the record label just picked the name (of a food dish) just to make it easier to remember. My mom who speaks Japanese told me the title but I've forgotten and she said Priscilla's pronounciation is very good.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1NGVyFzaFI
