Chicago is a great blues town isn't it Rick T? I really liked her performance of the old Etta James' song "At Last." There's something about somebody having the vocal firepower holding back on the fire to deliver the song in a nice laid back manner.
That's one of the things that made Tina Turner's Private Dancer album so good; her delivery. Talking about Chicago blues artists, have you ever heard Trevor Menear? He's from Chicago and kind of showed up in L.A. about 2 years ago and has been making the rounds doing the blues and using his ability on the guitar to play with various performers around town.
