Nice to hear from ya! Of course, I like your suggestion of Roxette. I have the Travelling album, too, and I like it a lot.
Personally, I would not recommend "It Must Have Been Love." I was aware of the mega-hits, "It Must Have Been Love" and "Listen to Your Heart" for years before actually becoming a big Roxette fan, and learning that the girl's (Marie's) name is not Roxette *lol*. The songs were so much on the radio and yet I wasn't moved enough to find out anything more about the band.
It wasn't until about 2005, when some fans of the Corrs from Holland and Germany introduced me to some of the other, less-known music of Marie and Per. I think the first song they tested out on me during one of our weekend chats was "Run to You"* which I liked very much. From then on, they started to introduce me to a vast catalog of quality pop songs that increased my respect for their talent. Another early one they had me listen to was "Milk And Toast And Honey"*. My friend Cynthia had an idea to introduce me to an obscure "My World, My Love, My Life"* and that got my attention!
I could go on more, but enough Roxette talk for now, hehe, since the topic might come up in a few weeks, and we should be talking about Nightcat's excellent musical suggestion, Hayley Westenra!
