At Twitter, this sister act from St. John's, Newfoundland has a lot of "followers" from among the Corr faithful. Ennis, which features sisters Maureen and Karen Ennis, changed their name from The Ennis Sisters about four years ago when their younger sister Teresa left for a solo career. Long time songwriting collaborator and manager Mark Murphy then became the third, and now lowest, voice in the three-part harmonies that are a big part of their sound. My understanding is that Ennis are big fans of the Corrs. I found out about Ennis from another Corrs fan (Simone) back in about 2006, when they were still in Nashville and, even then, their Celtic influences were irrepressible. Despite creating some fine country pop music** while in Nashville, they made the decision that they wanted to record the kind of music in which they feel most at home: Newfoundland music, which is heavily influenced by Irish traditional music. There's a recent article about Ennis here: http://theindependent.ca/2012/07/06/a-fortunate-return-to-their-roots-3/.
Here's an interview that went along with the performance featured right now as the YTOM:
