I'm not qualified to say, really. I've never been to Britain. I did read, however, that what is known in America as "English toffee" is not the same as the toffee that they actually have in England.
Maybe Cadbury chocolate? I hear that the Cadbury chocolate in English is superior to that which we have in America. Wine gums are better than anything similar we might have in America. I need to move!!
I've been to the Netherlands, though, and I know they're fond of dropjes. It's black liquorice (or as we spell it, "licorice") created in many shapes. They have so many different kinds, too... some sweet and some so salty that it tastes like a mouthful of sea water. :-O They even have candies called "drop toffee." One of my favorites is Rademaker Koffie Hopjes, a coffee flavored candy.
