but I discovered them back in my Corrsonline days, so felt that maybe I could return the favour to someone around here.
There was a thread talking of what others listened to, and one member pointed out, Lacuna Coil (amongst other similar bands).
The lead singer, Kristina Scabbia has an amazing voice suited to the haunted melodies she sings, which, for me, blend in fantastically with the harsher male vocals to create some mesmerising songs.
They are also absolutely fantastic live, one of the best bands I've been fortunate enough to see (and at a small venue too).
If you like the song, have a listen to the rest of the Comalies album, which is my personal favourite.
If you are only a little interested, try Heaven's a Lie which is widely regarded as their 'best' song (if such a thing can exist) and their cover of Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence.
