I came across Belle & Sebastian back in my college days. I haven't bought any of their recent albums but the ones I have are on fairly frequent rotation when I need 'easy listening' music but want something that's still interesting.
This is the song that I always think of first when I think of Belle & Sebastian. (Not that it's necessarily my favorite but it's always the first one that comes to mind and the one I think of as the most quintessential Belle & Sebastian song.)
