...an opportunity I don't often have in my everyday life!

Steverino, that's a very astute observation about "Just the Way You Are". I had never noticed that before, but I can see the resemblance now that you mention it. Incidentally, "Feels So Good" was nominated for a Grammy for Record of the Year, but lost to... "Just the Way You Are".

And great point about artists who are considered one-hit wonders. Of course, the Corrs are a notable example of an artist now remembered mainly for one song but who in fact have a substantial body of work -- at least in the USA.

(BTW, I like Billy Joel's music a lot as well. I wouldn't suggest him as an AOTM since I assume most people are familiar with him, but I do think he has some brilliant songs.)

Rick, we are almost the same age, as I was 7 when "Feels So Good" came out. I liked the Chick Corea and Spyro Gyra tracks. I used to be somewhat of a Spyro Gyra fan: I have several of their albums on vinyl (my favorite being City Kids from 1983), and I saw them play live in Chataqua, NY in support of their Breakout album (this must have been around 1986). Like Mangione, Spyro Gyra is from western New York state -- Mangione from Rochester, Spyro Grya from Buffalo. I haven't followed them closely for some time, but I still listen to their old albums occasionally.
