I particularly liked the the high vocal line "Now I'm speaking Japanese" in the chorus. That's not where I would have expected the melody to go.
I listened to the studio version and a few live versions on youtube. I like the live versions better -- less processing on the vocals, so you can hear her singing more clearly.
It's surprising to me that this is the same band that did "Fading Listening", which is a completely different sound. "Speaking Japanese" sounds to my ears closer to our previous AOTM, Lacuna Coil.
