There a couple of reasons I want to bring up Karmina. I've only been really aware of them in the last 2 months. They were also on the bill with Katie Cole in October. Katie made a point of recommending the sisters before and after the show. She was already familiar with their music. They only got to sing 4 songs at that show, but I later saw them a little while later and they did a full set. I was impressed the first time and very impressed after catching a full set. The two sisters are Kamille (dark hair) and Kelly (blond hair). I did some investigating and realized I had seen an early video that they did in about 2008 for a song called "The Kiss" which got some placements on various media. They were on CBS Records, but the video was somewhat controversial and that's why I checked it out back then (kissing of same sex couples, interracial couples, etc. which not everyone stateside accepts). The girls themselves are very sweet and quite talented. Both have extensive classical backgrounds and were in the Thornton School of Music at USC. I believe Kina Grannis (of the Jelly Belly video) and Tina Guo (well known cellist) were their classmates among others. Kelly and Kamille both have very good voices and from a wiki article about them it states that Kamille was selected to sing with Josh Groban at several charity events by David Foster. I think some of you might enjoy that she kind of has an Andrea Corr "air" about her. I get a kick out of this low budget video for their song "Slow Down." Kamille made the pink sequined shoe from a pair of Converse tennis shoes. Kelly is noticeably taller than Kamille and from that wiki article it states she was at one time on an Olympic development team for her soccer skills. ">
