I lived in Chicago for 6 years in the 1990s when I was in grad school. Loved the city, although I didn't see much live rock music during that time (I did see many performances of the Chicago Symphony, especially the free summer concerts in Grant Park.)
The http://shinytoyguns.net forum has been swamped with spam lately, and I'm guessing that's what caused them to exceed their bandwidth limit. That's probably also what caused traffic to be so light, since the site is nearly unusable because of all the spam.
I wasn't able to catch the stageit performance earlier this week . Did you see it?
