If you're interested in folk music from the British Isles, you should check out http://www.chloematharu.com I believe she's a Scots from Wales. She is a graduate student in a scientific field so she only does tour dates on school break. I happened to stumble across her name and my friends in the U.K. had never heard of her. I already have her CD which I purchased from her website. It came quite quickly. ">
I hear people telling me there was better music from this and that era, but there is still great music being produced, but you might have to look a bit harder to find it. Thankfully some of the people here are still looking for great music.
